पौष मास के कृष्णपक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि को रूक्मिणी अष्टमी का पर्व मनाया जाता है। द्वापर युग में इसी तिथि पर देवी रूक्मिणी का जन्म हुआ था। देवी रूक्मिणी भगवान श्री कृष्ण की पहली पत्नी है, वह भगवान की सोलह हजार एक सौ आठ रानियो में श्रेष्ठ है। इस बार यह पर्व 06 जनवरी 2021 ( बुधवार) को मनाया जाएगा । धर्म ग्रंथो में देवी रुक्मिणी को देवी लक्ष्मी का अवतार बताया गया है। जो भी व्यक्ति भगवान श्री कृष्ण और देवी रुक्मिणी सहित उनके पुत्र प्रद्युम्न की पूजन करता है। उनके घर में धन धान्य की वृद्धि होती हैं।
अष्टमी तिथि का महत्व
पौराणिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार देवी रुक्मिणी और भगवान श्री कृष्ण का जन्म कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि को हुआ था। तथा देवी राधा का जन्म भी अष्टमी तिथि को हुआ था। इसीलिए अष्टमी तिथि शुभ माना गया है।
The festival of Rukmini Ashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of Krishnapaksha of Pausha month. Goddess Rukmini was born on this date in Dwapara Yuga. Goddess Rukmini is the first wife of Lord Shri Krishna, she is the best among the sixteen thousand one hundred and eight queens of God. This time this festival will be celebrated on 06 January 2021 (Wednesday). In the religious texts, Goddess Rukmini is described as an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. Whoever worships Lord Shri Krishna and Goddess Rukmini along with their son Pradyuman. There is an increase of money grain in their house.
Importance of Rukmini Ashtami
Tithi According to mythological texts, Goddess Rukmini and Lord Shri Krishna were born on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha. And Goddess Radha was also born on Ashtami Tithi. That is why Ashtami Tithi is considered auspicious.
